Our team in Florianópolis is growing, and we’re looking for brilliant minds to join our data science group. You’ll work on products that matter, both for clients and in internal efforts — including BCI (brain-computer interface) and AI safety research.

What You’ll Do

• Build, analyze, and ship ML-powered products for real-world clients
• Rotate into internal research and alignment work when projects allow
• Work with classification, NLP/NLU, and API-integrated ML solutions
• Write clean Python, model robust pipelines, and collaborate with designers & developers
• Communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
• Own your work from conception to deployment
• Join a fast-paced, highly skilled team solving complex challenges daily

About You

• Strong fluency in Python across multiple projects
• Proven data science experience: significant contributor to large or multiple small projects
• Comfortable with classification models, methods, and evaluation
• Familiarity with NLP/NLU workflows
• Experience calling machine learning APIs via REST or client libraries
• Practical experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, or Kanban)
• Growth mindset and hunger to learn new systems
• Excellent self-management skills
• Full-time availability
• Fluent written and spoken English (required)

Bonus Points For

• Self-managed or entrepreneurial data science side projects
• Software engineering background / clean coding practices
• Experience training deep learning models (vision, NLP, or LLMs)
• JavaScript / Node.js familiarity
• Unit testing and clean code principles
• Startup experience or client-facing experience
• Excited to work in person from our Florianópolis office
